Job Summary:
Ledcor's Technical Division (LTS) is seeking an experienced, multi-serviced, self-motivated Warehouse Material Handler to conduct all day to day activities within the warehouse facility.

The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for the daily flow of materials, which includes accurate shipping, receiving and inventory control. This individual is responsible for preserving a clean and safe work environment, and for maintaining/repairing warehouse equipment and fleet vehicles.

The Warehouse Material Handler builds and maintains relationships with field technicians, ensuring needs of warehouse staff are met. This individual is responsible for preserving a clean and safe work environment, and for maintaining/repairing warehouse equipment and fleet vehicles.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Verification of incoming and outgoing materials
- Shipping and receiving support
- Operation of forklift as required
- Lifting heavy items up to 40Ibs
- Inventory control and order selection
- Assisting technicians with loading material
- Assist in warehouse safety, cleanliness and waste disposal
- Build and maintain relationships with our field technicians ensuring we are meeting the warehousing demands of staff
- Experience with inventory tracking system’s as well as procedures for handling all inbound and outbound stock
- Experience with auditing process’s that include all operational aspects with specific focus on process compliance, assets protection, security, quality control and labor utilization

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of construction industry experience
- Active CDL would be nice to have
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment where needs change based on customer demands
- Experience in establishing relationships with various levels of an organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Forklift Operator Certification an asset
- Warehouse experience preferably in high volume environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proven computer skills - must be intermediate to advanced user of Excel and other Microsoft products
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
