Accessibility Trainer, Lead

board.gov and Web Content Access Guide (WCAG) 2.0 A and AA. All developed training needs to be 508 compliant.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development and delivery of training
- Develop web-based, interactive Section 508 Training Modules to reside on the customer’s E-Learning site
- Deliver 508 awareness training activities and develop Section 508 Slide Presentations and Training Modules
- Conduct training in two ways: virtual classroom training (Live Meeting or Smart classroom) and E-Learning
- Conduct classes monthly for a minimum of one hour with customer feedback survey for each course taught
- Deliver General Section 508 basics and document accessibility training monthly using MS TEAMS Meeting to class sizes up to 1,000 participants
- Professional understanding of Section 508 standards
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Good and patient listener
- Author content and graphics for materials developed
- Ability to present materials to diverse audiences with multiple skill levels and attendance sizes
- Experience with the instructional design and adult education and learning
- Experience in coordinating multiple training programs and conducting live training
- Experience utilizing multiple training techniques and tools with various media with multiple student skill levels and class sizes
- Ability to engage the audience through materials and presentations utilizing multiple training techniques and tools with various media

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 to 5 years of experience
- Certified Professional Trainer Certifications a plus
- Experience working in VA or other Government agency [desired]
- Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
