**Job Description**:
Coordinate and oversee Physician Concierge service for the operating room scheduling service including providing key support to the operations of scheduling; acts as an inter-departmental liaison on financial and information systems. Schedules surgeries, conducts and provides oversight of day to day operations including patient scheduling, data collections, month end close, securing authorizations, patient account follow-up and physician and patient communication. Develops and implements procedures to assure efficient operations. Provides and participates in cross training to insure functional coverage between coordinators. In conjunction with the Executive Director, coordinates and implements quality assurance activities as well as addressing expedient issues and facilitating solutions within physician concierge service. Liaises with medical directors, physicians, and staff. The Project Coordinator assists in implementation of multiple projects and programs which support the Physician Concierge Program. Coordinates projects, outlines tasks, develops project timelines, and tracks progress through continuous communication to insure customer satisfaction. Acts as point person for task completion. Accountable for: training personnel, physician and physician office communication, identifying and coordinating tasks, timelines and objectives of multiple and varying projects; data gathering, analysis and preparing reports, ensure availability of staff, resources, equipment and services are effectively and efficient delivery. This position is a key contributor to physician and patient satisfaction initiatives within the department by participating in physician satisfaction related process improvement activities as well as providing a high quality contact experience with every interaction. In addition, will cross train to as directed and perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business or related field

Five years administrative support and/or healthcare industry experience

Healthcare background and knowledge of hospital and clinic organizations preferred

Demonstrated organizational skills with experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously involving tracking and follow-through to ensure projects stay on track

Proven verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency with MS Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point required with MS Project software preferred

License/Certification/Registration Requirements

Salary Range:
$34.41 - $51.62 USD Hourly
