**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with potential customers in the food industry.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing excellent customer service.
- Maximize distribution growth at customer level.
- Manage and leverage capabilities of Brokers within their market.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve revenue goals.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to represent the company and generate leads.

**Qualifications**:

- 5-7 years of proven experience in sales or sales management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Strong communicator, customer focused with a positive attitude.
- Self-starter with a proven ability to work independently.
- Ability to work as part of a dynamic sales team from a home office.
- Ability to travel (25%).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and people skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and CRM software.
