Account Executive

**About the Role**:
Our growing healthcare client is seeking multiple Account Executives across the United States. As an Account Executive, you will represent the company to hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and families being discharged. Your primary responsibility is to drive lead generation and facilitate move-ins to communities from your assigned accounts. You should be enthusiastic about building relationships with healthcare professionals and persistent in identifying the best strategies to grow each account and help more families find the care they need.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Operate in a fast-paced, expanding industry to assist families urgently needing care in finding the right community or in-home care agency as they transition out of hospitals or skilled nursing facilities.
- Achieve your monthly target quota by generating daily qualified patient referrals from your assigned market plan accounts.
- Develop, manage, and expand your book of accounts to increase referral volume within your territory.
- Cultivate new contacts within each account through networking, cold calls, and service presentations, and follow up on discharge outcomes to reinforce the value the company provides.
- Educate families on their care options and guide them in collaboration with a Healthcare Senior Living Advisor to find the right senior living solution upon discharge.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Senior Living Advisors to meet your target quota of families moving into communities or hiring in-home care.
- Pilot new initiatives, tests, and processes (e.g., account scoring, CRM changes) within your territory and provide feedback to enhance tools and resources.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Three or more years of outside sales experience as an individual contributor.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and collaborating with other teams to achieve goals.
- Demonstrated experience in presenting to target customers and overcoming objections.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and independent work environment with a willingness to adapt and test new processes.
- Eagerness to learn and improve with a strong competitive drive.
- Ability to travel locally within your territory (5 days a week).
- Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Effective time management skills.
- Healthcare/hospital sales experience highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
**Additional Information**:
**Schedule**:
- You will be in the field daily, working with your Regional Director to develop and execute your account plan each week to build, nurture, and grow your accounts to meet your monthly targets.
- Field activities will include scheduled presentations at accounts, calls, and impromptu drop-ins to meet with case managers, discharge planners, doctors, and patients being discharged.
Must have outside healthcare business development experience. Sales via phone and community tours are insufficient for this role.
The company will provide a laptop, cell phone, and reimburse mileage at the national rate.
**Commission Structure**
42 points per month
Points are conversions so referrals that convert into a move in or start of care
Move ins into assistant living, independent living or memory care communities are 5 points per move in
1 point for respite care, home care, or senior apartments
35K yearly bonus on target/12 months in a year is what they’d take home when hitting 42 points (so approximately 2900 per month)
Anything over 42 points is paid out on accelerators
1st month - anything over gets paid out at 150%
Second consecutive month - 200%
Any consecutive month following, anything over 42 points gets paid out at 300%
