**Position Overview**:
Responsibilities include:

- Consistent partner for one or more GME programs in scholarly activity planning, approval, and execution
- Collaborates effectively with Program Directors, Residents, Fellows, Research Scientists, Statisticians, and Data Engineers
- Prepares and submits IRB forms, Conflict of Interest forms, and other administrative documents
- Coordinates and tracks scholarly activity and progress on administrative reviews and approvals
- Develops and maintains knowledge of scholarly activity pathways in GME and in the health care environment
- Contributes to the development of training, tools, and process documentation for both the department and for assigned projects
- Provides routine administrative support by maintaining documents, files, policies, and procedures
- Performs information management functions as needed, including maintain databases, entering and auditing data, and preparing routine and/or ad hoc reports
- Assists with organizing conferences and in research/scholarship training programs as needed

**EDUCATION**:

- Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._
- Bachelor's: Administration, Health Administration, Public Health or related field

**TYPICAL EXPERIENCE**:

- 4 years recent relevant experience.
- Prior IRB submission/research experience preferred.

**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**:

- Conceptual, analytical and negotiation skills are necessary, along with skills in solving complex problems and developing actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability in leading / facilitating teams.
- Customer service focus in all decisions and actions.
- Interpersonal skills and an ability to cultivate a network within Sutter health to gain support from key stakeholders and gain trust and respect from senior leaders.
- High level of operational thinking and expertise with the ability to quickly analyze and understand healthcare operations desired.
- Detail oriented, self-directed and able to work autonomously.
- Communicate complex concepts and ideas effectively to all levels within the organization.
- Develop, create and deliver presentations to all levels within the bay area foundation.
- Demonstrated ability to continuously learn and improve understanding of project methodology and tools.
- Verbal and written communication skills, including a high level of tact, diplomacy, and adaptability.
- Organizational skills with ability to handle multiple projects, multiple (and sometimes conflicting) priorities and adapt to a rapidly changing environment involving multiple stakeholders at various levels.
- Collaborative working style and ability to develop/sustain productive work relationships with key stakeholders and other project resources across all areas and levels of the organization.
