**Job Title: Communications Officer**

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- ** Media Relations**: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media contacts to facilitate positive coverage of the organization. Prepare and distribute press releases and manage media inquiries effectively.
- ** Social Media Management**: Manage the organization's social media platforms, including content creation, community engagement, and performance tracking. Stay updated on social media trends and best practices.
- ** Internal Communication**: Develop and implement internal communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging across all departments. Keep employees informed about organizational developments, events, and initiatives.
- ** Brand Management**: Uphold and enhance the organization's brand identity through consistent messaging and visual elements across all communication channels.
- ** Crisis Communication**: Develop and implement crisis communication plans to effectively manage and mitigate potential reputational risks. Serve as a spokesperson during crises when necessary.
- ** Event Coordination**: Assist in the planning and execution of events, including press conferences, product launches, and community outreach programs. Coordinate media coverage and promotional activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, content management systems, and media monitoring tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in crisis communication and media relations is highly desirable.
