- Fingerprint Clearance.
- Medical Clearance and Negative for Tuberculosis or any communicable disease.
- Ability to lift and transport minimum of 25 pounds.

Employee will report to Director of Programs, and:

- Display professional integrity and represent Mission and philosophy of Alpha Resource Center (ARC);
- Demonstrate respect for all individuals and encourage culturally responsive family and participant support;
- Promote a positive and respectful environment for participants, fellow employees, visitors, and all others encountered with the scope of their job;
- Prepare and maintain a safe, clean and organized work setting; and
- Take responsibility for maintaining clean and safe general use areas.

Employee will:

- Assume responsibility for overall coordination and development of Family Resource Center (FRC) services.
- Secure contracts and manage implementation, data collection, deliverables and reporting of all contracts and grants.
- Provide countywide coordination for outreach and engagement to underserved populations.
- Develop and maintain FRC service handbook.
- Assume responsibility for advocacy efforts through:

- Directing and assigning Case Management responsibilities;
- Provide oversight to intake activities and evaluate case for referral to outside consultant;
- Participate and engage in family participation in local, state, national public policy activities as assigned;
- Be familiar with current laws and regulations impacting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families;
- Sustain relationships with legislative members, agencies, stakeholders, and provide oversite and support to leadership activities;
- Provide advocacy training to families and self-advocates.
- Ensure efficiency and accuracy of data collection and reporting of program wide activities including:

- Ensuring timely completion of required data collection;
- Meet reporting requirements of granting and scholarship agencies;
- Maintain files and other relevant data in an organized manner using mandated reporting software;
- Support timely and efficient communication with database provider;
- Ensure staff training on data collection software and materials;
- Provide technical support to staff as needed;
Employee will coordinate Community Outreach including:

- Oversight of the provision of resource and information packets program wide;
- Provide resources and information packets on specific diagnoses to parents and professionals upon request;
- Ensure development of and surplus of resource materials countywide;
- Provide leadership in the preparation, planning and presentation of educational workshops;
- Ensure implementation of child find, public awareness and outreach activities;
- Participate on interagency teams and present or represent ARC to other community groups, public and private, to broaden public awareness;
- Promote Ability Awareness presentations

Employee will oversee ongoing development of Family Resource Center Services and oversight of operations including:

- Liaison with Tri-Counties Regional Center, Community Based Organizations, and all agency partners;
- Update and development of resources in English and Spanish;
- Develop outline of site furnishings and equipment acquisitions; procure items as approved;
- Design and produce training materials for proper utilization of equipment and library procedures;
- Ensure the prompt provision and follow-up of referrals for families and service providers to appropriate agencies and groups, as indicated by specific concerns.

Employee will promote the general goals and philosophy of Alpha Resource Center of Santa Barbara and:

- Ensure high-quality Lifespan Support Services
- Participate in training as indicated by specific geographical interests and needs; and that promotes professional growth;
- Ensure FRC team is adequately staffed and trained;
- Prepare and submit accurate data for payroll;
- Conduct staff performance evaluations;
- Manage remote staff and offices;
- With the assistance of the Director of Finance submit annual budget request;
