Material Handler Assistant

**JOB SUMMARY**

The Material Handler Assistant will maintain warehouse stock, fulfill customer orders, and organize and maintain existing inventory.

**Schedule**:
2nd Shift - Monday-Thursday 1:55pm-12:25am

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**
- Review raw material production schedules, pull material, and deliver to individual workstations.
- Bring material back to be weighed
- Maintains and organizes raw material inventory.
- Pack products to ready them for shipments.
- Moves goods interdepartmentally utilizing hand trucks and other material handling equipment.
- Maintains and organizes finished product stock.
- Operate Forklift within the facility to transport product.

**SKILLS and ABILITIES**
- Solid interpersonal skills.
- Time management/deadline-oriented.
- Works well under pressure.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Computer skills.

**EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE**
- Experience working with a MRP/ERP environment.
- Hands-on experience with picking, packing, and inventory control.
- Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping software.
- Forklift Certified a plus, will train if needed.
- Experience working with a Warehouse Management System a plus.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Move/Lift/Carry up to 50 pounds.
- Standing up to 8+ hours per day.
