- Responsible for accurately receiving and inspecting returned furniture from home deliveries. Will interact with home delivery drivers on a daily basis.**Responsibilities & Essential Functions**
- Receives and inspects returned furniture using a hard copy manifest and WMS (STORIS) system.
- Accurately completes manifest
- Inspects merchandise for damage and ensures that claim information is properly captured.
- Accurately identifies, dispositions and labels furniture.
- Responsible for physically and systemically moving furniture.
- Accurately receives furniture returned from store locations.
- Accurately moves furniture using RF scanner.
- Assists in properly re-wrapping open furniture.
- Responsible for sorting recycling materials.
- Load and unload trailers as required.
- Maintain clean and orderly work area and DC.
- Operate electric pallet jack as needed. Performs additional duties as required.**Qualifications**
- Must have computer competency.
- Must be able to exercise caution and strict adherence to safety policies and procedures.
- Must be able to see, hear, stand, walk lift, and carry (e.g., furniture weighing up to 100 lbs.).
