Purchasing Coordinator

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and schedule purchase orders using lead-time or safety stock to meet customer due dates and coordinate and expedite materials to eliminate shortages
- Prepare vendor RFQs and request quotations.
- Follow all assigned purchase orders through to completion.
- Interface with Marketing, Product Management, and Sales.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest news relating to USTR changes, port/logistics, and domestic/international supply chain issues.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and receiving companies on all proper import/export documentation
- Develop and maintain high-quality vendor relations.
- Communicate daily/weekly with current and potential new suppliers to determine supply capabilities, transportation logistics, and inventory control and management.
- Maintaining and updating inventory when ordering and receiving shipments.
- Understand all product certifications that electronics require (FCC, CE, ROHS, UL, etc.) and ensure inventory complies with such standards
- Serve as the liaison between sales and overseas factories regarding item requests from customers
- Troubleshoot item defects as well as new product development issues with overseas vendors
- Updating Office Master System (OMS) regarding inventory.
- Occasional domestic and international travel.

**Qualifications**:

- Fluency in Mandarin strongly preferred
- Strong computer and typing skills
- Interest in learning about electronic/tech accessories
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of the import/export documentation process
- Ability to oversee a project to completion without oversight

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
