**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate resources available within Gallagher to fill white space needs (Pharmacy Practice, Retirement, GGB, HR
Consulting, Voluntary Benefits, etc.)
- Accountable for 95% client retention
- Manage increasingly complex accounts and funding type based on experience with supervision
- Support the Client Service Cycle with oversight from experienced team members to ensure a seamless renewal process and
retain the business
- Resolve service-related issues independently, involving more experienced Account Management team members when
needed
- Utilize Gallagher’s resources (Underwriting, Compliance), available tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), established work products
and advanced knowledge (benefits, self-funding etc.) to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in client deliverables
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills, demonstrated through the ability to effectively present in client
- Develop, cultivate and maintain positive relationships within the branch, with clients and with vendor partners
- Maintain proficiency in all GBS (Gallagher Benefit Services) professional standards
- Prepare the RFP, coordinate vendor responses, support negotiations, analyze and spreadsheet proposal results, and develop
the client presentation
- Leverage team members to manage client/vendor expectations and ensure timely delivery of requests for clients, vendors
and internal partners
- Possess ability to articulate account management role in client engagement
- Provide guidance and support to new hires, Account Coordinators, and anyone that needs assistance
- Maintain and prioritize a task list on a regular basis
- Provide support to local GBS office by completing ad hoc administrative tasks as needed
- Be innovative and don’t be satisfied with the status quo Generate new and practical ideas, always look to improve
- Maintain up-to-date records in Document Management System (DMS)
- Comply with Gallagher’s processes, BOSS standards and office initiatives
- Complete training and professional development to gain understanding of the insurance industry and GBS processes
- Exemplify the highest ethical standards, promote ethical behavior and uphold The Gallagher Way

Qualifications:
**Required**:

- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years client service and/or claims management experience
- OR
- High School degree/GED with 8+ years client service and/or claims management experience.
- Producer's License.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Appropriate licensing as required.

**Preferred**:

- Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships.
- Solid financial acumen.
