Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Provides assistance as required by the underwriting unit to support renewal and new business activities.
- Maintain accurate records and databases related to underwriting activities.
- May assist with the computation of rates and premiums.
- Follow up on outstanding items and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Creates letters, memos, forms, reports, dictation, certificates of insurance.
- May include answering phones, filing, and processing mail.
- Assist overall branch process.

Qualifications:
Required:

- High school diploma.
- Thorough knowledge of office procedures.

Preferred:

- Previous experience in insurance or underwriting is a plus.

Behaviors:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
