Oxbow Middle/High School, located in Bradford, Vermont is seeking to hire a Library/Media Specialist for the start of the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time, permanent position, which is part of the Orange East Education Association's Collective Bargaining Agreement. The Library Media Specialist is responsible for transforming the school library into a full-service 21st century learning center that incorporates both books and contemporary technological tools including but not limited to educational research databases and presentation/video-editing software and responding to the needs of gifted and highly motivated students through the development of individual learning plans.The Library Media Specialist will work to establish effective rapport with students, to motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education in accordance with each students ability, and to establish good relationships with parents and other staff members. The Library Media Specialist will teach one 7th grade elective class on a rotation basis throughout the school year.
