The Managing Director - Hollingsworth Center combines integration and alignment of priorities against organizational goals. The Managing Director is responsible for directing, managing, and continuously improving the center. Departmental leadership functions include planning, directing, and evaluating business and education operations of the department.

**Who We Are**

The Office of the Commandant (OOC) serves and supports departments within the Corps of Cadets that are critically engaged in all aspects of student development and the delivery of key services and support. OOC departments work to create environments that help students develop, learn, and enhance their experience at Texas A&M by providing leadership opportunities, experiential education, and connections beyond the classroom.

**Position Details**:Employee will supervise - Director, Associate Director Leadership and Development, Associate Director Career Readiness, Associate Director Integration and Impact, Assistant Director

**Qualifications**

**Required Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10 years related military or industry experience in management/leadership

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
- Progressive organizational leadership experiences

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree
- 20 years related experience in military and private sector management
- Additional professional certifications in leadership, management, strategic planning
- Experience in budget management and program development

**Essential Duties/Tasks**:

- **Department Duties/Hollingsworth - **Provides leadership for departmental functions to include planning, directing, and evaluating departmental operations. Strategic engagement, integration, and alignment of priorities against goals within the department and the organization. Recommends new initiatives, programs and experiences.
- **Management. Planning, & Implementation - **Directly supervises and maintains responsibility for multiple units within the department of Hollingsworth, including directing the efforts of and supervising management and other staff. Establish long and short-term staffing plans while developing current staff members efficiently and effectively.
- **Communication - **Leads in the development of departmental communications and public relations for internal and external audiences.
- **Budget & Funds Resources - **Provides effective budget management and oversees fiscal operations of departments by establishing cost controls. Coordinates with development team to secure additional resources to support and sustain growth in the Corps of Cadets.
- **Campus and Community Stakeholders - **Engages with stakeholders in small and large group settings to represent the Office of the Commandant and the Corps of Cadets
