Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Transform Product and UX requirements into thoughtfully designed experiences for both app and web. Deliver customer-centric designs (wireframes, low and high fidelity mock ups, and prototypes, dependent on the project) that accurately respond to the needs of prospects and members for all points in their user journey.
- As a member of the UX Design team, work closely with Product, Engineering, and key cross-functional stakeholders to ensure our digital products address user needs and meet business goals, all while being mindful of technical architecture and constraints.
- Design with our large and diverse membership in mind at all times.
- Design with accessibility concerns in mind at all times.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Communications, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 3 years of mobile and web UI design experience
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite with a strong portfolio to demonstrate UI/visual design skills
- Comfortable working across the full range of design activities, from research to conception to final design files and handoffs
- Experience working in close collaboration with product management and technology teams to break down complex workflows and requirements
- Experience collaborating with other designers and presenting your work
- Comfortable explaining rationale for design choices, welcomes feedback, able to quickly align and move forward
- Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with enough time for receiving feedback and implementing necessary changes
- Demonstrates initiative, self-motivation, creative problem solving, and independence, with the ability to adapt and respond to changes and pivots as needed
- Has a passion for designing and building digital products and services that users will love
- Extremely detail-oriented, efficient, and organized with an exceptional ability to establish priorities and objectives
- Excellent presentation and communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Able to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships with diverse individuals, internally and externally
- Dedicated learner with a natural curiosity for consistent growth
- Exhibits comfort, ease, and flexibility working in an extremely fast-paced ever-changing, deadline-driven environment
- Cooperative team player with an upbeat, positive, “can-do” attitude
