White Sands Delivery, Inc is hiring an **EXPERIENCED **FedEx Ground Business Contact to lead our operation in the Palmetto, FL terminal. This person will have a daily presence at the terminal and maintain good working relationships with the FedEx Ground terminal as well as create a strong & positive working environment amoung our team of drivers.
- **MUST BE A BADGED FedEx Driver with 1-2 years BC experience**:

- Expertise in DRO Route Planning a plus
- Possess a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
- Positive additude to build team morale and retain drivers
- Motivation to positively lead a team of drivers to meet given metrics
- Problem solving skills - be able to make on the fly decisions if needed in the morning & also fill in on any work area needed.
- Strong communication skills

This is an Operations Management position and will not include the need to recruit/hire or complete payroll. Sole responsibilities will be on the operations of the business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Arrive at the terminal around 7:30 am each day
- Complete dispatch
- Work with the terminal on disputes & handsheets
- Ensure drivers complete all pick-ups daily
- Ensure drivers attempt all deliveries each day
- Assist drivers as needed
- Coordinate truck maintenance with mechanic
- Hold weekly safety meetings
- Coordinate training & on-boarding of new drivers
- Communicate daily with AO
- Fill in on DRO planning when needed

Must live within 30 mintues of the Palmetto terminal or be moving there prior to starting this job

**BC experience will be verified. Applicants without FedEx Ground BC experience, need not apply**

**This is not a Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM position. It will require some long-hour days as well as required weekend work, but you should not be in a truck driving a work area every day.

Pay: From $200.00 per day
