Overview:
As the Assistant General Manager, this position is designed as an opportunity to develop as a leadership level manager within a manufacturing company. How the Role Works:
The person in this position would typically be reviewing the tasks and priorities for the current department they are working in, such as manufacturing, sales, or quality assurance. Through collaboration with management, you will identify areas of strength and areas for improvement and then work through planning, iterating, and improving the processes and procedures while adapting the role to key employees. They would engage in a variety of tasks ranging from operational support, process documentation, and project management, to attending meetings with department heads to gain insights into strategic decisions and operational challenges.

They would engage in learning specific roles by shadowing current employees, taking notes, and gradually taking over certain tasks to manage them independently. This would also involve coordinating with different teams, managing communications, and handling administrative duties as needed.

Throughout their tenure in each department, they would be responsible for documenting processes and workflows, which involves detailed note-taking, process mapping, and possibly creating training materials. As they master a role, they would also prepare to train the next individual, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity.

The role requires flexibility as the person may need to shift focus based on urgent needs or projects, making adaptability and quick learning crucial traits for successful performance in this position.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
