**Position Overview**: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Retail Clerk/Cashier to join our team at Blossom & Ivory. In this dual role, you will manage transactions efficiently and assist customers with their shopping needs, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. If you have strong communication skills, a passion for fashion, and a proactive attitude, we want to hear from you

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries, providing exceptional service from the moment they enter the store.
- Accurately process sales transactions using the point-of-sale system, handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with store policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring supplies such as bags and receipt paper are replenished as needed.
- Assist customers in selecting products that best suit their needs, offering personalized recommendations and styling advice.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular stock counts, and reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Contribute to visual merchandising efforts by setting up displays and ensuring merchandise is presented attractively.
- Stay informed about current promotions, store policies, and product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping experience.
- Participate in in-store events and promotional activities to engage customers and drive sales.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a retail clerk or cashier is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills.
- A passion for fashion and a keen sense of style.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
