The law firm of Silverman Theologou LLP, with offices in the Washington, D.C., Richmond, VA, Los Angeles, CA, and Fort Lauderdale, FL, metropolitan areas, is a creditors rights and business law firm focusing primarily on commercial and consumer collections.

STLLP's N. Bethesda office, located near the red line metro, seeks an efficient and enthusiastic Legal Assistant to join our team

**Responsibilities include**:

- Analyze and process data, as assigned, to ensure that proper work flow is being adhered to pursuant to the expectations of both clients and STLLP
- Provide excellent customer service to clients
- Utilize internal software to properly update and document the status of each assigned account
- Prepare documentation for attorney review
- File (paper or e-file) pleadings with the various state specific court filing systems
- Utilize organizational skills to maintain efficient office operations
- Communicate effectively and appropriately with team members and outside parties
- Comply with all applicable standard operating procedures set forth by the office
- Ensure quality of work while maintaining quantity of work
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient computer skills, including experience in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- Professionalism and a positive attitude
- Bachelor's degree preferred for this position

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
