**Job Description Summary**

Wintrust Financial Corporation is seeking an individual for a Tax Analyst position at its corporate headquarters in Rosemont, IL. This role will support the tax department in various aspects of corporate income tax, with a focus on state and local corporate income tax.

**What You’ll Do**
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state and local corporate income and franchise tax returns
- Prepare quarterly state and local income tax estimated payments and extensions
- Assemble and organize data including state apportionment and modification data
- Assist with tax depreciation schedules
- Assist in responding to state and federal notices
- Provide support for federal and state income tax audits, including gathering supporting information and documentation
- Conduct tax research and provide documentation of tax filing positions
- Assist with various tax related projects, as needed

**Knowledge/Skills/Background/Experience**
- BS Degree in Accounting; CPA certification or currently pursuing CPA certification preferred
- 0 -3 years of corporate income tax experience
- Experience with OneSource tax compliance software and Checkpoint Research software is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
