Your Role and Responsibilities
- The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing solutions to solve a business problem, including but not limited to installation, configuration, integration and implementation of projects for the Data and AI IBM product portfolio tailored to specific client requirements. Responsibilities also include participating in requirements gathering and design sessions with clients, analyzing existing processes, and converting business needs into technical designs.
- This role requires a deep understanding of business challenges across various industries and the ability to provide effective solutions using relevant products. A Solution Architect must stay informed about industry trends, market directions, and stakeholder needs, leveraging their expertise in IBM products to design, develop, and customize solutions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Direct experience in the following products and technologies: Db2 z/OS and Db2 LUW, Db2 Warehouse on Cloud, Db2 on Cloud, AWS RDS for Db2.
- Strong knowledge of Netezza, Informix, Mongo DB,
- Experience with capacity planning, scalability, performance, data replication and load testing concepts
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience working with IBM complementary products: IBM Cloud Packs, Cognos, watsonx.data
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies
- Strong experience working with senior IT and non-IT executives
- Demonstrated experience in multi-shore management, teamwork and execution
