**Position Summary**:
Supervises assigned areas by planning, scheduling, assigning, and monitoring the work of assigned staff.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
1. Coaches, reviews, and supervises assigned employees, including disciplinary action when required.

2. Schedules, assigns, and plans the daily work of shop personnel performing a variety of tasks.

3. Ensures adherences to company policies, plant procedures and work instructions

4. Participates in the daily Gemba Process.

5. Ensures that schedule and cost objectives are met by assigned personnel.

6. Maintains accurate Direct Job Time, Payroll Time, and material records

7. Trains or informs employees of new work methods or procedures, changes in safety regulations, and work policies.

8. Ensures budgeting guidelines are met; prioritizes shop expenditures to stay within budget; assists in preparation of capital and operations budgets.

9. Enforces safety regulations and adherence to proper codes and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Strong working knowledge of heavy industrial assembly

2. Ability to read and interpret assembly prints

3. Working knowledge of steel manufacturing and fabrication processes

**Preferred Qualifications**:
1. Experience with building of automated machines

2. Experience with MRP/ERP systems

**Education/Certification**:
High School Diploma or GED equivalency

Preferred Bachelor Degree

**Hours/Schedule**:
Full Time

45 hours/week

**Hourly wage range**: $25-$33

Schedule: 5:30AM-4:00PM Monday-Thursday

Schedule: 5:30AM-10:30PM Friday.....**Yes Friday off early**
