**Job Summary**:
**Duties**:

- Coordinate program registration and participant database for youths and social services clients
- Develop, implement, and evaluate youth programs/services that: ensure the health and welfare of children, increase youth employment, and promote positive youth development.
- Work with Social Services Coordinator to distribute food to clients.
- Maintain detailed records of donations received, process accounts payable/ receivable, as well as coordinating donation acknowledgement process.
- Maintain accurate and complete program files.
- Place orders for supplies and services including food bank supplies.
- Assist in program preparation and delivery including large community events.
- Assist in the collection and distribution of goods from individuals and groups including but not limited to holiday gift giving programs and food drives.
- Assist the Advisory Board including clerking evening meetings monthly.
- Assist in the management of volunteers.
- May assist in providing services to clients in crisis.

**Requirements**:

- High School diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- Experience working with young people in supervisory role.
- Experience working in human service or social service agency preferred.
- Current motor vehicle license required.
- CT Public Passenger Endorsement or ability to obtain on required.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs, phone, fax and copy machine.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- **REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High School diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- Experience working with young people in supervisory role.
- Experience working in human service or social service agency preferred.
- Current motor vehicle license required.
- CT Public Passenger Endorsement or ability to obtain on required.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs, phone, fax and copy machine.
- Oral and written communication skills

Pay: From $30.55 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
