Basic function is performing initial and annual respirator fit testing for UCSF faculty, learners, and staff
- Involves developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental and safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations, and ensure a safe workplace.
- May include industrial hygiene, ergonomics, occupational safety, environmental health, pest control, laboratory safety, hazardous materials control, hazardous waste management, emergency services and preparedness, fire safety, radiological safety, environmental protection including air, water and soil quality, and other EH&S programs and policies; or provides technical support for these programs.

**Required Qualifications**
- Basic knowledge / understanding of relevant EH&S field(s), and related regulations.
- Organizational skills to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
- Written and interpersonal communication skills to communicate effectively.
- Skill in following basic instructions and providing input and feedback as required.
- Basic skills to appropriately use technology and relevant scientific equipment as required.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in healthcare and/or biomedical research environments
