We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to our furry clients. If you have a love for animals and possess excellent grooming skills, we would love to hear from you.
**Duties**:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets' fur according to client preferences and breed standards
- Safely handle and restrain animals during grooming sessions
- Clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment
- Monitor the health and well-being of pets during grooming sessions
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring their satisfaction
- Educate pet owners on proper grooming techniques and recommend appropriate products for at-home care
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a Pet Groomer or in a related role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Proficiency in animal handling and restraint techniques
- Ability to lift heavy objects, such as large dogs or bags of pet food
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Knowledge of basic veterinary care is a plus (e.g., recognizing signs of illness or injury)
- Experience working in a kennel or veterinary assistant role is beneficial
- Equine grooming experience is a bonus

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
