**Job Summary**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- The Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for performing high-quality installations, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of complex electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring all work is done to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems and mechanical components, including motors, conveyors, and production machinery.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Follow all applicable SOP’s and GMP’s, safety guidelines, published regulations and appropriate codes.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

**Required Education, Skills, and Experience**:

- High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Electro-Mechanic or in a similar role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Complete understanding of Plant electrical systems, including DC voltage and AC voltage from 24V to 480V.
- A strong background in pneumatics, electrical troubleshooting, mechanical maintenance, and electrical controls.
- Experience using sensing and control devices.
- A strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical components, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including Saturdays, and to be on call.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to work at heights above 6 feet on scaffolding.
- Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull items up to 50 pounds. (solo or assisted).
- Must be able to bend, kneel, sit, and stand at least 8 hours per day.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces (limitations on size of individual).
- Must be able to work with hands, average range of motion, overhead, below knees, power tools, hand.tools, and recording instruments.
