**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:
- 2-year college degree in procurement/supply chain management preferred
- 2 years of procurement, negotiating, materials management, or accounting and/or related experience
- Other combinations of education and experience which meet the minimum requirements will be considered
- Detailed understanding of plans, construction documents and engineering disciplines
- Detailed knowledge and experience with restaurant equipment and FF & E procurement
- Detailed knowledge of inventory and supply chain management systems
- Willingness to work with multiple, individual and diverse franchisee clientele
- Ability to learn and retain brand standards/trade dress for multiple brands
- Must have excellent written, verbal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
- Customer service principles and techniques
**JOB FUNCTIONS**:
PRE-CONSTRUCTION:
- Perform detailed take-off of FF & E counts from plans (Kitchen equipment, millwork, furniture, etc.) and solicit/review 3rd party proposals
- Serve as primary internal point of contact for procurement
- Prepare cost estimates and Process internal orders as required to fulfill purchase requests
- Contact vendors to obtain price quotes and to place orders
- Coordinate documentation and agreements with internal departments
- Expedite orders and coordinate delivery as necessary
- Research, evaluate and resolve any arising issues of incorrect fulfillment or shipping
- Assure that all aspects of the purchase to payment process are maintained
- Verify product availability, cost, lead times and delivery logistics
PLAN & DESIGN:
- Participate in Value Engineering (VE) exercises for multiple brands
CONSTRUCTION:
- Organize and participate in regularly scheduled project progress conference calls, WebEx and other group meetings
- Provide timely responses to all procurement/equipment related RFI’s and field issues
- Review shop drawings and submittals. Comment as needed
- Track Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF & E) orders and delivery status
REFRESH, REMODEL, & RELOCATION PROJECTS:
- Facilitate and manage Refresh (RF), Remodel (RM) and Relocation (RL) projects
- Generate and update RF/RM guides, specifications and requirements
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- New product and material search
- Draft and implement new procedures
- Negotiate materials and equipment bulk purchasing (Tile, lighting, FF & E items, etc.)
- Identify and qualify potential new vendors and suppliers
- Transition newly acquired brands into the Kahala development system
- Answer routine questions and inquires regarding procurement policy, procedures, over the phone and resolve routine questions or problems independently
- Attend meetings as needed and prepare documents for distribution and file
- Manage and administrate equipment warranty claims
- Manage and assist with facilities projects and needs
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
