**IT Support Technician-Plymouth Meeting, PA**

This full time position is responsible for providing information technology support and training; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; complying with operating policies and procedures established for the assigned function; communicating with appropriate personnel; responding to inquiries or requests for information; maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned reports.
- Provides support for users as needed, including troubleshooting, hardware setup, and software installation.
- Responds to user questions, issues, or problems and attempts to address and/or resolve them; ensures that user support questions and problems are handled in a professional and timely manner.
- Documents IT issues and solutions in the Help Desk software.
- Provides as-needed training for users on Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, the Internet, and various custom software.
- Provides backup for the Information Management Director, as directed, including performing system backups, configuring, and delivering systems, troubleshooting network and server outages, etc.

**This position works on site and travels to several locations in the city of Philadelphia. Must have reliable transportation.**

**Education/Training**: A high school diploma or equivalent; specialized information technology education/training.

**Skill(s)**: Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; proficient technical skills, including troubleshooting and knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet, and web technology; visual and auditory skills; ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, climb, and lift items weighing 30 lbs. or less; valid driver’s license.

**Experience**: A minimum of one-year related experience normally required.
