KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Network Availability Lead to join our Digital Nexus organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical design and architectural leadership, including documenting and diagramming the logical, physical, and process views for enterprise monitoring solution(s)
- Facilitate organizational change by defining strategies for the Firm with respect to technology domain standards and design goals, focusing mainly on monitoring, event correlation, and service dependency mapping
- Develop and maintain roadmaps, which include product selection, versions, upgrades, projects, and milestones
- Conduct research focused on identifying emerging technology solutions that reduce costs, increase efficiencies, provide more value and capabilities, reduce risks, and increase security
- Lead efforts for technology evaluations, which involves identifying a weighted feature matrix for a specific need and evaluating and scoring products against the desired features; research activities include readings, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and lab testing
- Provide vision and guidance on unified monitoring; gather data from disparate monitoring tools, create a unified solution to help isolate and resolve issues faster while acting as lead triage point of contact for incidences to improve MTTR

Qualifications:

- Minimum Ten years of recent experience in Network Design and Engineering, focusing on rapid triage using industry monitoring tools, managing and supporting large scale projects and network automaton, preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred; Cisco certifications are preferred
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing network monitoring architecture and reference architectures from business requirements gathering to technology rollout oversight, including capacity management, definition of scoring methodologies for technology selection, integration of multiple tools and technical documentation
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP and Routing & Switching technologies, data center products and remote access technology; able to program with one or more scripting' languages and skilled in API integrations
- Experience with Cisco networks and monitoring tools; knowledge or hands-on experience with public cloud deployments like AWS and Azure; good knowledge of Network function virtualization Virtual router/Switch, Virtual FW, and Virtual Load Balancers
- Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and team work
