Job Responsibilities
- Control traffic that might be around the construction site by posting signs indicating people are working and redirecting any vehicles to side roads
- Unload materials from trucks and place them at the proper location on the site; distribute materials to contractors
- Perform numerous types of manual labor, including digging trenches to lay down piping and mixing concrete inside a portable cement mixer
- Maintain all pieces of equipment by routinely inspecting machinery
- Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor in a timely manner
- Drive industrial vehicles to transfer materials
- Work effectively to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high quality standards
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, forklifts, skid loaders and other tools as directed by management
- Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management
- Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site on a daily basis
- Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.

Job Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to perform a variety of physical tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Previous experience working on construction sites
- Understanding of and willingness to abide by all safety protocols
- Valid driver’s license and transportation
- Ability to lift heavy equipment
- Excellent stamina
- High school education or equivalent

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Construction & Extraction Occupations: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)

Work Location: On the road
