**Job Overview**:
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our residents across the Chicagoland area.

This hybrid opportunity reports to an on-site property in the Loop neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Additional travel will be as-needed within a 50-mile radius of the city of Chicago.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Perform minor fixes and handyperson skills, such as painting, damage to walls, exterior repairs, siding, minor roofing etc.
- Complete regular maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
- Walk vacant units per inspection lists and document into system.
- Report to manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress Conduct business always with the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct.
- Complete all assigned work orders in a timely manner.
- Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years' previous experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools.
- Ability to reliably commute within a 50-mile radius of the city of Chicago.
- Works effectively with coworkers, clients, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; addresses problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions.
- Must possess a high energy attitude and an ability to multi-task/prioritize different projects at any given time.
- Superior oral and written communication skills.
