**Position Description**

**This is a fully benefited, full-time Harvard University position that has been funded through 06/30/26. There is the possibility of renewal, contingent on funding, university priorities and satisfactory job performance.**

- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into systems requirements and scoping
- Work on an Agile team to deliver technical solutions that meet our user’s needs.
- Contribute to the definition of systems requirements, conduct gap analysis, and identify feasible alternative solutions that meet defined business objectives
- Ensure that operational tasks are completed on time and coordinate with business units as needed.
- Participate in the production support rotation. Respond within one business day to end user questions, system issues and requests for data sets, reports and system enhancements. Independently research and troubleshoot any issues. Consult other analysts as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process and/or system improvements. Make suggestions to implement those changes. May review other analysts’ work, reports, specification documents and/or test scripts to comply with IT Audit guidelines.
- Perform user needs analysis, product evaluation, selection, customization, testing, implementation, and support
- Abide by and follow the Harvard University IT technical standards, policies and Code of Conduct
- Other duties as assigned

**Basic Qualifications**
- Minimum of two years’ post-secondary education or relevant work experience

**Additional Qualifications and Skills**
- Prior experience at Harvard and/or in Human Resources and/or in Higher Ed is preferred.
- Demonstrated team performance skills, service mindset approach, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor

**Certificates and Licenses**
- Completion of Harvard IT Academy specified foundational courses (or external equivalent) preferred

**Working Conditions**
- Work is performed in an office setting

**Work Format Details**
- HUIT actively supports hybrid work where business needs allow. This position has been designated as a Partially on-site position (**1-2 days per week**). While this position is partially on-site, **additional travel to campus may be necessary based on business needs and the nature of work. Examples include bi-annual or quarterly Town Halls, critical business meetings or other work events**. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. All remote work must be performed within one of the Harvard Registered Payroll States, which currently includes Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Washington, and California (CA for exempt positions only). Certain visa types and funding sources may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
