**Reports to**: Human Resources Manager**Department**: Human Resources**Recruitment and Retention Coordinator**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Recruitment**
- Collaborate with department managers to understand their staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Create and post job listings on various job boards, websites, and social media platforms.
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings as required.
- Assist the new hire with all onboarding processes, including Verify employment eligibility.
- Maintain an open position list and create weekly reports on status of position.
- Conduct reference and background inquires.
- Build relationships with educational institutions, industry organizations, and other talent sources.
- Attend job fairs, networking events, and conferences to promote our company as an employer of choice.
- Research best career sites for posting position.

**Retention**
- Work closely with HR team members and department managers to identify and address employee retention issues.
- Implement retention strategies, including employee engagement programs and career development initiatives.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Process termination paperwork

**Experience and Education**:

- University/College degreed preferred, with focus in Business, Sales, or Human Resources
- Knowledge of employment legislature and practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of HR resources and tools
- Excellent technology skills, including use of Microsoft Office, ADP Workforce now, social media platforms.
- Previous experience in administrative role.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- A passion for helping individuals and teams succeed.
- Innovative thinking, bringing ideas to the table and a passion to build and grow the systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- This job is a civilian position and does not require military service (including commission and enlistment)_
