Medical Office Call Center Rep

- Complaints are researched and responded to the same day if possible.
- Schedule appointments when calls received from the patient or physician’s office.
- Attend meetings as required.

Required:
2 years Work experience required in healthcare, preferably in a medical office or clinic setting

JOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Knowledge of business office procedures.
- Supports and promotes new or evolving procedures and routines. Demonstrated ability to study, understand, adapt and respond effectively to a constantly changing health care environment.
- Knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation to type patient information.
- Customer service skills. Anticipates and takes personal responsibility for customer satisfaction. Ability to listen, understand and support the needs of others in a sensitive manner.
- Skill in greeting patients and answering the telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner.
- Ability to speak clearly and concisely. Proven skills in communicating with staff, customers and management.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow verbal and written instruction. Demonstrates flexibility in meeting unexpected work fluctuations.
- Ability to sort and file materials correctly by alphabetic or numeric systems.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
