We are assisting our client, a growing physical medicine and rehabilitation practice that focuses on regenerative and restorative treatments in hiring a receptionist. Our team of practitioners works closely with each patient to create and implement a detailed, humanistic treatment plan that considers all aspects of a patient’s condition, to reach one goal

Located in Sacramento, this esteemed physical medicine and rehabilitation practice is strategically building on its long-standing reputation for excellence by seeking to hire an experienced medical receptionist to assist with scheduling, reception, and data entry. We are looking for a compassionate individual with exceptional people skills, organization, and a “can do” attitude.

**Schedule**

Non-Exempt, Full Time, 8 am
- 5 pm

**Core Duties & Responsibilities**
- Receive and greet patients upon arrival
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls
- Manage and return all missed calls by the end of each business day
- Handle patient reminder/confirmation calls
- Fax all encounter notes from providers to attorneys
- Cross-train in basic medical assistant duties
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable
- Send out weekly updates
- Data entry
- Other duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications**
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software
- Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures such as filing, copying, and record-keeping
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policies
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
