**Community Outreach Coordinator**

**Description**

The Community Outreach Coordinator will coordinate community outreach initiatives to include volunteering opportunities. This individual will work to increase community awareness and maintain/build relationships with individuals and organizations affiliated with Brevard County, to include the faith community.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Coordinate all volunteer efforts of the organization to include food packings and other events.
- Analyze current participation of organizations and identify areas of opportunity.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive and innovative community outreach plan targeting volunteers and donors.
- Actively reach out to community groups and organizations to explore partnership opportunities.
- Organize (or assist in organizing), attend and/or participate in events (ie. In-house and community outreach and/or fundraising events) such as:

- Packing and food donation events
- Fight Child Hunger 5K
- Love A Kid Luncheon
- Various ongoing festivals and yearly events
- Volunteer recognition events
- Assist in promotion of TCHP via FaceBook and other social media
- Prepare collateral for special events (i.e. tent, event box, brochures, pledge cards, fliers, etc.).
- Responsible for loading/unloading vehicle.
- Assist in warehouse utilizing manual pallet jack, walkie truck and loading/unloading of food items to include lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Participate in packing events as needed.
- Coordinate or assist in coordinating special projects, i.e., donation campaigns, back-to-school and summer break programs.
- Other duties as assigned.

Benefits include paid vacation and holidays.

Medical benefits not included.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
