**Director of Facilities, Transportation & Risk Management**

The DFTRM oversees all SCARC facility assets (buildings, grounds, mechanical systems; alarm and security systems, communication systems, janitorial services, supplies and maintenance operations), SCARC’s vehicle fleet, and issues of quality, maintenance and safety. Responds to all emergency situations in an efficient manner, contacting all necessary personnel and implement appropriate actions. The DFTRM supervises the two Coordinators of Facilities and Transportation Operations and is responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with community resources, businesses, as well as other provider agencies, DDD personnel and all departments within SCARC. The DFTRM will participate in quarterly visits to all programs.

**Position requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years Strategic Facilities Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent computer skills with a strong emphasis in Microsoft Excel
- Must possess technical knowledge of building services
- Must possess strong systems knowledge
- Supervisory experience
- Excellent written communication skills
- Must have experience with contract negotiations and with financial analysis as it relates to facilities management projects
- Must have the ability to manage large budgets
- Must be very detail-oriented and highly organized
- Must be extremely flexible
- Must display professionalism and a strong work ethic
- Professional discretion and confidentiality
- Displays intellectual and strategic leadership in establishing the direction of Facilities and Fleet Management.
- Experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities, a bonus.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
