**Job Summary**
Caregiver at Visiting Angels - Largo has several caregiver positions available throughout Prince George's County. This individual contributor role is responsible for providing a high level of professional and compassionate in-home care services to our clients. In this important role, you will serve as the reliable link between our clients and the Visiting Angels team.
**Compensation & Benefits**
This is a part-time hourly position with competitive pay.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide compassionate and professional assistance with ADL's and IADL's to clients in their own homes, including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, medication reminders, and emotional support.
- Track all daily visits in completion of accurate and thorough documentation and provide feedback to Visiting Angels management for each case.
- Reliable, responsible, and dependable in client visits as scheduled.
**Requirements**:
**CNA/CMT license required**
- High School Diploma/GED
- CPR in-person or online certification
- Current TB results "or" chest x-ray
- Minimum of one year of experience providing care to clients within home health care or in-home care setting
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally and compassionately with elderly clients
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Valid driver’s license and reliable method of transportation
- Quick problem-solving abilities and excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
