The Lead Case Manager, under the guidance of the Program Director, coordinates various tasks such as assessing unaccompanied children (UC), developing service plans, evaluating sponsors, and making recommendations for transfers and releases. Additionally, they provide support, training, and supervision to other case managers while ensuring program compliance with all relevant regulations through quality assurance activities conducted with the team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Stay updated on program policies and procedures for effective operation, ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.
- Implement policies promoting safe, efficient, and timely release of unaccompanied children (UC), while training case management team members on program systems and processes.
- Supervise daily workflow activities of the case management team, coordinating staff meetings and facilitating interdisciplinary team conferences and discharge planning meetings.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among care providers, third-party reviewers, attorneys, stakeholders, and Child Advocates, ensuring information exchange during the case management process.
- Provide regular status updates to assigned Case Coordinators, ensuring progress towards safe and timely releases, while also ensuring UC attendance at required legal proceedings and preparing them and sponsors. Additionally, maintain confidentiality and privacy when handling information and conduct regular quality assurance activities to ensure UC safety and well-being, promptly reporting any concerns regarding misconduct for the protection of all involved.

**Requirements**:

- Possess a Master’s Degree in a related field such as behavioral science, human services, or social services. Alternatively, hold a Bachelor’s Degree coupled with a minimum of three years of relevant experience showcasing both supervisory and case management skills.
- Demonstrated aptitude in leadership, management, and program development.
