Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. Your primary duty will be to monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, violence, or any other illegal activities.

**Duties**:

- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure security
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
- Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies
- Write detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities
- Enforce property rules and regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Perform access control duties by checking identification and verifying credentials
- Conduct inspections to identify potential security risks or hazards
- Assist with crowd control during events or emergencies

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid security certificate/license
- Prior experience in the military, law enforcement, or security field is preferred
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus
- Excellent observation and surveillance skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to handle conflicts or difficult situations calmly and professionally

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Experience level:

- 2 years
