The position reports to the Digital Center Director. The role will have broad exposure to other product/process areas across Northrop Grumman space Systems and will require a **demonstrated ability to work with multiple disciplines** to ensure the successful development& insertion of **key Digital technologies** in an increasingly cost-competitive environment. You will be required to **interface seamlessly with** Northrop Grumman **senior management, energize teams; project a friendly, positive attitude** that promotes employee engagement and work cooperatively in a dynamic environment where change is the norm.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Science Degree in a STEM field
- At minimum of 7 years of experience leading an engineering organization
- Proven technical, program or functional leadership experience
- Prior experience in cost and schedule management
- Experience in collaborating with employees within a department and across functional areas
- Demonstrated ability to grasp complex issues, independently formulate analysis and proposed solutions, lead people, manage complex activities, manage risks and opportunities, present / brief issues to leadership, and represent the company well to customers and business partners

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Master’s or PhD Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
- Recognition within the broader organization as a Subject Matter Expert, Responsible Design Engineer or Integrated Product Team Lead for Digital Electronics for Space Systems
- Experience as a functional manager
- Demonstrated ability to create a collaborative, engaging working environment
- An ability to manage and balance competing interests/priorities
- Experienced in product development, proposal support, managing capital and indirect budgets
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills

**Salary Range**:$156,000 - $234,000

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
