Job Posting: CT Tech - Radiology

**Location**: Traverse City, MI

**Position**: CT Tech - Radiology

**Pay Range**: $65 - $70/hr

**Contract Duration**: 13 weeks

**Shift**:

- **Weekends**: Every Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- **Weekdays**: Three weekdays, either 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM OR 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- **Days Off**: Two blocked weekdays off

**Holiday**: If the holiday falls on a normally scheduled day

**On-Call**: None

**Department**:

- Main CT: Outpatient
- IR CT: Procedures
- ED: 24/7 coverage

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Graduation from an AMA-approved program for Radiologic Technologists
- Required Certifications: ARRT registration, current BLS certificate
- Preferred Certification: CT Certification
- EMR System: Cerner
- Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients for CT procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to provide accurate and timely imaging services.
- Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of CT equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records in the Cerner EMR system.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Graduation from an AMA-approved program for Radiologic Technologists.
- ARRT registration.
- Current BLS certificate.
- CT Certification is preferred.
- Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Cerner.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Schedule**:

- Every Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
- Three weekdays, either 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM OR 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
- Two blocked weekdays off.
- No on-call duties.
- Holiday coverage if it falls on a normally scheduled day.
