Type: Part-Time/Full-Time (Event-Based)
Reports To: Events Manager
Pay: $8.00 + tips (or event tip pool split)

Pullman Yards is a historic and dynamic event venue located in the heart of Atlanta. With a blend of industrial charm and modern amenities, we host a variety of events ranging from weddings and corporate functions to concerts and festivals. We are looking for enthusiastic and skilled bartenders to join our event staff team and contribute to the exceptional experiences we offer our guests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Bartending Services: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a fast-paced event environment.
- Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Bar Setup and Teardown: Assist with the setup and breakdown of the bar area before and after events, including stocking supplies, arranging glassware, and ensuring cleanliness.
- Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions, maintain a balanced cash drawer, and process payments using point-of-sale systems.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies regarding the service of alcohol, including checking IDs to verify legal drinking age.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or special requests to the event manager.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and operating correctly. Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other event staff, including servers, security, and management, to ensure smooth event operations and guest satisfaction.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience_: Minimum of 1-2 years of bartending experience, preferably in a high-volume or event-based environment.
- Skills_: Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and bartending equipment. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Physical Requirements_: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal Attributes_: Friendly, approachable, and able to work well under pressure. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing a high level of service.
- Availability_: Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.
