Full-Time Flexible work from home days All candidates should reside in central NY, NJ, Philly but the entire Territory is Virginia to Maine and inland to NY and PA The Senior Account Executive – Inks serves as the primary commercial and technical liaison between us and key Narrow Web packaging customers. This role is responsible for driving profitable growth through strategic account management, solution-based selling, and deep application expertise in water-based and UV-curable inks and coatings. This position combines revenue ownership with technical leadership, ensuring strong customer partnerships, successful product adoption, and long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Account & Revenue LeadershipManage a portfolio of strategic Narrow Web accounts with full ownership of revenue, margins, and profitabilityDevelop and execute account growth strategies aligned with customer and company objectivesIdentify and convert new business opportunities including product conversions, line extensions, and new applicationsLead pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and commercial agreementsTechnical & Solution-Based SellingUtilize expertise in water-based and UV-curable inks/coatings to deliver value-driven solutionsLead press trials, product introductions, and technical validationsAct as escalation point for complex technical issuesTranslate technical performance and sustainability benefits into customer-focused value propositionsCustomer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain executive-level customer relationships across operations, quality, and procurement teamsServe as the primary point of accountability for customer satisfaction and issue resolutionCollaborate with Technical Service, R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teamsRequired Qualifications (Must-Haves)5+ years of experience in packaging, inks, or related manufacturing industryStrong experience with packaging materials and ink systemsProven ability to resolve technical issues related to inks or packagingExperience working in cross-functional environmentsAbility to manage customer relationships and drive business growthHigh School Diploma or equivalent (minimum education requirement)Required Technical SkillsExperience with color management systems (e.g., X-Rite)Understanding of lamination, coating, and post-print converting processesKnowledge of VOC compliance, safety protocols, and regulatory requirementsPreferred SkillsExperience in Narrow Web / flexographic printing environmentsStrong technical-sales hybrid experienceAbility to position solutions vs. commodity productsStrong communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsCore CompetenciesStrategic Account ManagementTechnical Sales & Solution SellingCustomer Relationship ManagementProblem Solving & TroubleshootingCross-functional CollaborationRevenue Growth & ProfitabilityIdeal Candidate ProfileSelf-driven and capable of working independently after trainingStrong work ethic with a goal-oriented mindsetAbility to balance technical expertise with commercial strategyMotivated to grow within the organization and take on higher responsibilities
