Position OverviewFort Behavioral Person-centered Therapy is actively seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dedicated team. Work EnvironmentThis remote position allows for flexibility while maintaining a structured weekday schedule, working Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Our clinic utilizes modern telehealth technologies to facilitate remote counseling sessions, ensuring clients receive uninterrupted access to support in a comfortable manner. You'll be joining a friendly and collaborative team passionate about mental health advocacy, with ongoing support and professional guidance readily available.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, delivering accurate diagnoses as needed.
- Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals and preferences, integrating various therapeutic modalities to enhance effectiveness.
- Implement evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address relationship issues and emotional struggles.
- Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to empower them in their therapeutic journeys.
- Regularly monitor and document client progress while making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving needs.
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration by working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients.
- Stay informed about the latest research on mood disorders and advancements in treatment strategies to continually enhance service delivery.
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, safeguarding client information and treatment records.
- Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions to promote professional development within the organization.
- Advocate for mental health awareness, challenging stigma and working to meet the diverse needs of clients and their families.

Qualifications- Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
- A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of developing trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
- Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental approach towards client experiences to foster a safe therapeutic environment.
- Organizational and time-management skills essential for effective workload management and meeting administrative responsibilities.
- Experience in individual and family therapy with a focus on relationship issues and mood disorders.
- Familiarity with remote counseling tools and platforms to facilitate effective virtual sessions.
- Prior involvement in collaborative care settings, working alongside other mental health professionals.
- Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
