As a mental health therapist working with Bright Tomorrow Counseling Center, you will operate primarily from the comfort of your home, utilizing telehealth platforms to engage with clients. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the nature and severity of mood disorders in clients, gathering important clinical data that informs treatment planning.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals, employing evidence-based methodologies.
  • Deliver effective evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in one-on-one or group settings.
  • Provide education and resources to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
  • Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize therapeutic outcomes and ensure clients are on the path to recovery.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to create a cohesive and integrated support system for clients.
  • Stay informed of new research and developments in the mental health field to bring fresh, innovative treatment options to the practice.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to all regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional training and teamwork to promote best practices in the treatment of mood disorders.
  • Act as a strong advocate for clients by promoting awareness and reducing the stigma associated with mental health issues.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base primarily consists of individuals facing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. You will work in a highly collaborative environment, interacting regularly with other mental health professionals to ensure personalized, goal-oriented care that respects and values the unique backgrounds of each client.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining client confidentiality.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specifically targeting mood disorders is preferred.
  • Expertise in evidence-based treatments, particularly CBT and DBT, as well as a solid understanding of psychopharmacological options.
  • A proven track record in achieving positive clinical outcomes and effectively collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Compensation and Benefits
