Position OverviewThe L&C Health & Rehabilitation Center is actively seeking a talented and compassionate Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT) to join our dedicated team in San Jose, California. This is a full-time, remote position that allows you to provide essential mental health services to our diverse clientele while contributing to our mission of enhancing the well-being of individuals experiencing mood disorders. The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, along with potential bonuses and a sign-on incentive.

Work EnvironmentThis position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing therapists to create a comfortable and productive workspace tailored to their needs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct detailed assessments of clients to ascertain the severity and impact of mood disorders and develop a nuanced understanding of their psychological profile.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans that are tailored to address the unique goals and preferences of each client, utilizing evidence-based approaches.
- Employ therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients in managing their symptoms and fostering resilience.
- Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, equipping them with self-care strategies and treatment options, promoting recovery and self-advocacy.
- Monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain meticulous records of all assessments and therapy sessions in compliance with ethical standards.
- Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists to discuss treatment effectiveness and necessary medication adjustments, ensuring a holistic approach to each client’s care.
- Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mood disorder treatment, integrating new knowledge into therapeutic strategies.
- Participate in team meetings and case consultations to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and enhance the quality of care provided.
- Serve as an advocate to help destigmatize mental health issues and support initiatives that enhance mental health awareness in the community.
You will primarily work with clients who are navigating the complexities of mood disorders, such as major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder. Our clientele is diverse, reflecting a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences, offering a rich opportunity for cultural competency development.
Qualifications- Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Active and unrestricted licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
- A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders.
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, especially CBT and DBT.
- Understanding of psychopharmacology to facilitate effective collaboration with psychiatric providers.
- A strong track record of successful treatment outcomes with clients suffering from mood disorders.
- Impeccable communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients and foster an environment of trust.
- Previous work experience in a community health clinic or outpatient setting is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education in mental health treatment methodologies.
- Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural influences on mental health.
