We are seeking a Maintenance Reliability Engineer to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. This position is critical in maximizing the function and performance of our machinery and equipment by analyzing data, identifying potential issues, and implementing solutions that drive reliability and efficiency.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR LOCAL CANDIDATES - NO RELOCATION IS AVAILABLE.

As this is an ITAR-regulated facility, applicants must be U.S. citizens. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures to enhance equipment performance and longevity.
  • Manage the Maintenance Management System, including scheduling and executing all preventative maintenance.
  • Analyze equipment failure data, identify patterns, and conduct root cause analysis to prevent breakdowns.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of interventions and ensure spare parts availability to minimize downtime.
  • Research and integrate new technologies and processes to improve equipment reliability.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for employees on maintenance best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure reliability initiatives align with organizational goals.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex data and identify solutions.
  • Technical aptitude with a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Effective project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in data management and statistical analysis for reliability tracking and decision-making.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Strong safety awareness, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
