We are seeking a Junior Maintenance Reliability Engineer to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. This entry-level role is ideal for recent engineering graduates or early-career professionals with at least one year of experience who are eager to develop expertise in equipment reliability and maintenance. The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting preventative maintenance programs, analyzing equipment performance, and assisting in the implementation of reliability initiatives.

As this is an ITAR-regulated facility, applicants must be U.S. citizens. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing maintenance procedures to improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Support the Maintenance Management System (CMMS) by scheduling and tracking preventative maintenance.
  • Analyze equipment failure data, identify patterns, and assist in root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to monitor and improve equipment reliability.
  • Help maintain spare parts inventory to minimize downtime.
  • Research and recommend new technologies to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Participate in hands-on training to develop expertise in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure maintenance initiatives align with operational goals.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Strong technical aptitude with a willingness to learn about mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to support reliability efforts.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and document findings.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with maintenance software, data tracking, or CMMS is a plus.
  • Safety-conscious mindset with attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
  • 1+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, reliability, or a related field is preferred.
  • Exposure to preventative maintenance programs, data analysis, or equipment troubleshooting is preferred.
